As a little girl, and being a twin, I was subjected to the identical-outfit-fever, common amongst parents of twins.

Unfortunately for me, I have a twin brother, which meant that I was dressed in some pretty hideous pantsuits, shirt & pants combinations;

him in blue, me in…yellow? I never had the frilly pretty clothing a girl is usually dressed in by her mother and wanted to try and

look…well…more girly! I tried very hard to make clothes by hand that I WANTED to wear. I failed miserably on the technical side, but the

creative ideas were endless!

With that understanding, I began to use and alter what I already owned, to create the look I wanted. Over the years, my style

evolved and grew with me and I found myself being asked for advice on what to wear, on a regular basis. One day, after a massive closet

clean-out and style revamp session with a friend, it was suggested to me, “Jeanette, you should do this for a living!” Well, that is just what I

did and now I can share my passion for style, fashion and teaching as a full time Style Sensei.
